News

With a new Morrisey tour staring in almost a month there are sure to some new recordings that are made, once I hear about any of the new shows that have recorded I'll be sure to let you all know. On the flip side of that, I also would like to ask that if you have information on a new that has been recorded, let me know so I can post the news here.

New traders and those who haven't visited the site in a while, please note that this site is mainly an archival site with the shows listed on each of the pages representing what has been recorded and is circulating in trading circles, not what I personally have.  The only shows I have are the ones listed on my own trading page "My Tape List".  If you see anything you want on either the "Complete" Smiths or Morrissey Audio List you can check my list to see if I have it or check the "Trader List" and check anyone of the 50 different traders listed there. That being said, good luck finding the show you are looking for. Also please note I do not have a CD burner and cannot make CD's of any shows I have; tapes only (for now).

And one other matter on a personal note.  I'm likely going to be a bit slower in responding to emails than I have in the past.  I just got a promotion and start a new management job on July 2nd.  I'm not sure exactly how busy I'll be at this point so I just ask that you are patient with me and I'd like to apologize for any response delays in advance... I will respond to your questions eventually.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by. Until next time, the final words come from a 1990 KROQ interview with Morrissey.

Richard Blade: "How do you feel when you travel around, when you are in America, or Europe, and you see the Morrissey or The Smiths bootlegs coming out, because people will put them together just because there's nothing available."

Morrissey: "Sometimes I don't mind if they are good, and sometimes I buy them. I know you're supposed to be very annoyed because they make lots of money, and none of it comes to you, but that doesn't really bother me. I'm very glad that there is enough interest in The Smiths for there to be bootlegs, and so forth. So it's just really pleasing."
